We are pleased to announce that we have had a compliancy figure of 100% for our gas servicing compliance contracts for four years.

This includes our contracts with Kingston, Croydon, Swan, Estuary and Riverside. In addition to this fantastic achievement, we have also received a customer satisfaction rate of 100%. This is as a result of contact with the clients’ housing officers, calling residents out of hours and engineers attending to the properties during evenings and weekends.

The nature of these works means that there are a number of potential challenges including access to properties, extensive ranges of boilers and availability of parts. It is for this reason that achieving 100% compliance for four years is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all those working within the gas team.

The standards are very high and with 100% customer satisfaction recorded month on month you and your staff should be commended on this achievement.

Simon Holmes, Mechanical & Engineering Divisional Manager, has been a new addition to the gas team for the last 18 months and has helped along with Divisional Gas Manager, Ray Westron and their management team to maintain a sense of stability and compliance.

The Axis Gas Division is now based at our Croydon office which continues to develop and grow with significant investment from the board, this has helped us set up our dedicated boiler replacement/install team which is supporting and delivering boiler replacements across the majority of our existing client base. We are now printing and sending all gas servicing appointment letters for all our gas contracts at our Croydon hub, and with “auto-scheduling” of gas service appointments due to go-live soon these changes and initiatives are helping to streamline our service and improve our profitability, which in turn increases our competitiveness in the challenging social housing gas repair/servicing/installation sector.

We have just taken the commercial gas side of the business in-house with the employment of our own commercial gas engineer along with upping the skill set of some of the original engineers which will help with profitability within the gas division and help with tendering for new contracts.
