The new contract with Nehemiah Housing Association covers 1,240 properties in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Coventry, Sandwell and Birmingham. Our works will include Responsive Repairs and Works to Void Properties as well as optional Planned Works. We will also provide a 24/7 call handling response service for residents. We estimate we will be conducting between 300-400 repairs a month for Nehemiah under this new contract.
This is a 4-year contract with a potential 4-year total extension. The value of the contract is approximately £1m including optional planned works. The new contract started on 7 April 2021.
Axis won this contract because of our excellent reputation with the Midlands’ largest housing providers, our robust resources (including our own local staff and our close partnerships with our Midlands’ supply chain and subcontractors), as well as the proven ability of our Call Handlers/Planners to co-ordinate operatives and jobs to ensure Nehemiah’s priority targets are achieved.
Founded in 1989, Nehemiah Housing Association provides high-quality social housing to BAME communities across the West Midlands.
