Project details
The efficient turnaround (four weeks per property) and quality workmanship of our Void Property Programme enables our client, Westminster City Council (WCC), to quickly re-let empty flats across their housing stock.
During our Void Property Programme for WCC, we transformed empty properties that had deteriorated through wear and tear into safe, comfortable, modern homes that are economical to run and both stylish and practical to live in. There are 21 properties in the initial phase and a further 26 are released and awaiting instruction. They range from 1900s to 1980s-build.
For our client, our high standards of workmanship and quality finishes will keep future repairs and maintenance costs to a minimum. The efficient turnaround (four weeks per unit) means that WCC can quickly re-let the properties to families that are currently in temporary accommodation.
Axis has worked in partnership with Westminster City Council since 2010. Together we have delivered multiple concurrent programmes across the London borough including this recent Void Property Programme across their portfolio.
