Only 15% of the construction workforce is female, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). At Axis however, 33% of our workforce is female as we continue to get higher numbers of women through the door.

We promote gender diversity through our inclusive hiring practices, inclusive workplace culture, and the showcasing of successful women in our business. Additionally, we work alongside industry organisations to raise awareness about the opportunities and benefits of women pursuing careers in construction.
