New Repairs and Voids Contract for South Essex Homes

Axis won a £35,700,000 Repairs and Voids Contract for South Essex Homes on behalf of Southend City Council who are responsible for approximately 7,000 properties in Southend, on the north side of the Thames Estuary in Essex.

SEH directly involved a group of their residents in the process of procuring our services. And so, our team is looking forward to meeting all the SEH residents as we undertake our responsive repairs programme in their homes.

In addition to responsive repairs in homes, for our new client, we will be undertaking responsive repairs to dwellings, garages and blocks; works to internal and external communal areas, sheltered schemes and hostels, void works and potential planned works (including doors, windows, bathrooms and kitchens replacements/installations; roof insulation works; painting, decorating and refurbishment).

This contract started in April 2024 and is scheduled to run for three years with the option for an extension of up to a further four years. Mobilising the contract, we created dual-branding for our vans and clothing for our operatives.

South Essex Homes (SEH) is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) which manages and maintains the social housing stock of Southend City Council.
