Project Details

For our client, Westminster City Council, we have replaced a total of 81 kitchens and bathrooms in a mixture of properties including houses, apartments, and flats in tower blocks.

Throughout the works, we took great care to keep residents informed about the progress of the works whether it be in person, letters or WhatsApp communication to residents to receive minimum disruption to their daily lives.

In some cases, we made adaptations based on a resident disability, for example for a partially sighted resident, we fitted special dimmed lighting and pull-down drawers for their kitchen replacement.

Client Relationship

Axis has delivered planned maintenance to City of Westminster’s 21,000 properties since 2012, improving the safety, comfort and environmental performance of residents’ homes. The contract, which has been extended twice, has included cyclical decorations and renewal works to roofs, windows, external structures and internal communal areas, as well as kitchen and bathroom and fire door replacement.
