Axis Secures MTVH Remediation Works Framework

Axis Europe has been appointed to the Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) Remediation Works Contractor Framework, supporting a comprehensive programme of fire and structural safety remediation across MTVH’s housing stock.

Framework Duration: 1 November 2025 – 31 October 2029 (with potential extension to 7 years)
Total Value: £807 million

Framework Structure:

  • Lot 1: Projects £1–£1m – £33m
  • Lot 2: Projects £1–£5m – £327m
  • Lot 3: Projects over £5m – £286m

Scope of Works:

  • Fire and structural safety remediation across internal and external building elements
  • Removal and replacement of combustible cladding and insulation
  • Remedial works to external wall systems and cavity barriers
  • Replacement of timber balcony decks with non-combustible alternatives
  • Installation and repair of fire compartmentation, doors, alarms, AOVs, sprinkler systems, door entry systems, lifts, and other MEP works
  • Refurbishment, energy efficiency upgrades, and works on non-residential or listed buildings

Types of Properties:

  • Residential and mixed-use buildings, including high-rise blocks
  • Fully or partially occupied properties, as well as decanted buildings
  • Works include resident liaison and aftercare to ensure minimal disruption
