Axis Gains FORS Bronze
Axis 460+ drivers have been working towards the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) accreditation.
And we are delighted to announce Axis is now Bronze FORS accredited.
The bronze standard covers 4 areas (Management, Vehicles, Drivers, and Operations) with 32 subjects in total including record keeping, tracking fuel emissions and air quality.
Our new Bronze FORS accreditation confirms that we are:
- employing good practices
- demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety,
- improving operating practices through effective monitoring of fuel and tyre usage
We will benefit from reduced operating costs through improved fuel efficiency and better vehicle maintenance practices.
Our next step will be towards achieving the Silver accreditation.
