Axis Awarded as Preferred Bidder for Cladding Remediation Works

After completing their evaluation, our client L&Q announced Axis as their preferred bidder for Cladding Remediation works at Kingsland Wharves.

We were awarded this £18m opportunity as the preferred bidder for cladding remediation works through the Pretium Framework. We will be notified when the formal award has been given. This is subject to BSF funding and L&Q board approval.

Kingsland Wharves is part of a large predominantly residential development. It surrounds the Kingsland Basin in the London Borough of Hackney. A total of 9 buildings ranging from 3-9 floors are being assessed and remediated.

Our scope of works may include the replacement of existing external facade systems that pose a fire risk with compliant systems under the amended, current Building Regulations. 5 out of the 9 buildings are being submitted to the Building Safety Remediation Fund.
