Axis Partners with Peabody to Support Little Nest Nursery

Supporting the Local Community with a Nursery Donation

In partnership with our client, Peabody, we are delighted to have provided a donation of £5,000 to Little Nest Nursery in Lewisham.

With the recent increase in government-funded nursery spaces for local children, Little Nest Nursery were urgently in need of additional resources. Our donation provided the nursery with essential equipment and tools for the learning and development of the nursery’s children including sensory toys and floor beds.

Our partners at Peabody were also able to provide books as part of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library book scheme. These books are chosen specifically for children’s age ranges and to allow kids to have fun whilst learning at a pace for them!

About the donation, Jeanette from Little Nest Nursery said ‘They have truly helped to transform our nursery, and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity.

Your kind donation has enabled us to upgrade our baby area in ways we never thought possible. This came at the perfect time, as the introduction of additional funding for nine-month-old babies during the summer brought a surge in demand. Many local mums were eager to take advantage of the scheme and return to work, and while we were more than happy to support them, the increased demand was a challenge we couldn’t have met without your help.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide professional resources for our baby area, creating an enriching environment for our new little ones. Additionally, your donation allowed us to reallocate funds to other areas of the nursery, implementing much-needed improvements across our space.

We’ve now sectioned off the Baby, Toddler, and Preschool areas to provide children with more opportunities for age-appropriate activities throughout the day. At the same time, they still enjoy the benefits of open plan play after each focused session. These upgrades have significantly enhanced the overall experience for both children and staff. None of this would have been possible without your support. On behalf of the entire team at Little Nest Nursery, a heartfelt thank you!’

We are delighted to be able to support the nursery and the families that use their facilities and proud to be a part of the amazing impact Little Nest Nursery provides to the local community!
