We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the ‘We Care’ category of the Travis Perkins Managed Services Better Together Social Value Awards 2026 for our work renovating Perrymount Primary School’s ‘Rainbow Room’.
The Travis Perkins Better Together Awards recognise outstanding contributions to social value, inspiring others to make a difference and showcasing the power of collaboration in creating vibrant, healthy and thriving communities. Sponsored by ProSolve, the We Care Award honours organisations who have created community initiatives that foster empathy and inclusivity while showing incredible commitment to caring for individuals.
We are honoured to be shortlisted for this award for our work in transforming the space for Perrymount Primary School last August. Partnering with Magic Makeovers and L&Q, we transformed an existing space into a calming, sensory-friendly space for SEND students. The existing space was small and unfit for purpose, and through the removing the old décor, repainting the walls in pastel colours and installing new furniture, we were able to create areas for effective collaborative working and quiet activities. Perrymount Primary School caters for approximately 50 SEND students, for whom this refurbished space will provide an extra layer of support. The school also received a financial donation from L&Q delivery partner, Amber Construction.
