Home>News>Heritage News>Building Belgrave Square

Our Heritage Division at Axis has won a tender at the value of £550K. Our new contract is for External and Internal Restoration and Refurbishment works at a prestigious property in Belgrave Square, London.

The heritage team will be working on the property which is located in Belgravia, near Grosvenor Place and Hyde Park corner. It lies in one of London’s most prestigious postcodes. The Grade 1 listed property was built between 1826 and 1828 and is a large, stucco-fronted Georgian mid-terrace townhouse.

Our clients, Davenport Associates Residential Building Consultancy, have tasked us with a scope of work that includes an internal demolition and strip-out. The team should take a total of 3 months to complete the project. Our heritage division has a large portfolio detailing our experience in this area. We will take all care and attention to the schedule of works so as not to affect the retained building structure and decorative finishes.

Belgrave Square is the principal townscape in the Belgravia Conservation Area within the City of Westminster. It is essential that all historical building fabric to be retained is protected during the works. Davenport Associates Residential Building Consultancy are a chartered property professional specialising in the prime residential market.
