Project Details
Our Mechanical and Electrical division carried out a commercial boiler installation on behalf of our client, The Crown Estate. The works took place at a prestigious Grade A office building at 16 St James’s Street, in London.
Our team began works in the basement plant room, we drained and stripped the existing cast iron sectional boilers and associated shunt pumps. The primary pipework and Building Management System Panel (BMS) controls were also removed. As part of the commercial boiler installation, new modular boilers were added alongside a new pump set serving the primary circuit. Back-end protection, pipework, low loss header, valves, controls and ancillaries were also fitted.
Our team installed a new pressurisation unit, dosing pot, and expansion vessel with BMS controls to connect with the existing system. We added inset flue lining where required, along with replacement sections at reception level and in the basement plant room.
