Delivered a communal repairs and decoration to a residential property in West London
Project Details
As property maintenance specialists, Axis delivered a communal repairs and decoration at a residential property on St Ann’s Road in West London. The project, delivered in partnership with Notting Hill Genesis, served a development comprising 31 flats and 2 guestrooms.
The works began with validation and asbestos surveys to ensure safety and building compliance. Internal works included cleaning of metal ceiling grilles, full carpet cleaning, repainting of walls, columns and timber surfaces, and a lighting upgrade to improve energy efficiency.
The two guestrooms were fully redecorated, including wall and ceiling finishes and new carpet installation. In the garden area, every patio slab was lifted and re-bedded, benches were repaired and redecorated, and moss was cleared.
Benefits
- EPC rating improvements through structural and lighting upgrades.
- Future proofing against further repairs
Client Relationship
NHG Scheme Manager at NHG commented:
“I had positive feedback from all the residents. They said that they never had so good workers in the building.”
Resident Care
Our RLOs engaged with residents through door knocking, distributing letters, and direct communication to keep them informed about the works. This ensured consistent updates throughout the project and ensured minimal disruption.
Resident Testimonial:
“Very respectful, polite, friendly and efficient. Everything about them, they were really good, and I was impressed.”
