Axis successfully delivered on this data suite removal contract to dispose of an IT suite from a financial institution’s office in Canary Wharf. Our client’s objective for the data suite removal was to create 60 new desk positions in their high-rise working space.

We were awarded the role of Principal Contractor and our commercial division took the opportunity to schedule an appropriate programme of works. To ease any disruption and ensure the business could continue as normal, our team operated on a 24-hour basis. This allowed us to condense the project into a 12-week programme of works.

Our team began their scope of works with the removal of all hardware within the data suite, this left room for installations and decorative works. After removing the data suite, we installed a new ceiling and raised floor to match the existing system present in the rest of the building.

Our team completed the data suite removal project by providing decorative works. We painted what was the old data suite, again to match the style of the building – to the client’s specification. The team also installed new flooring as the final part of the project. We conducted any intrusive, noisy, or disruptive works outside of normal working hours.
