Project Details
Axis was commissioned to complete a high-end refurbishment of a residential penthouse apartment suite for the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. This project came as part of the voids and external refurbishment programme within our Grade ll Heritage-listed property portfolio.
Our heritage division began building works following a complete strip-out of the property. We delivered prestige internal refurbishments in the kitchen and dining areas, as well as the en suite bathroom. The team continued the programme of works with maintenance to the entrance hall, the three bedrooms, and the living room. We finished the project by completing window works, followed by a full re-decoration, to a high finish.
Project Challenges
One of the challenges of this high-end refurbishment programme included sensitivity to noisy working hours. The project, which ran between 8-10am and 12-2pm, was adapted to suit the tenants living in the accommodation. Our on-site Resident Liaison Officer kept all tenants informed with regular communications of working times and project details.
