Liam O’Leary Conquers London Marathon, Raises over £5,000 for Demelza

On the 21^st of April, Liam O’Leary, Quantity Surveyor, conquered the London Marathon in support of our corporate charity partner, Demelza.

Crossing the finish line after 5 hours and 47 minutes, Liam’s achievement was not just a personal triumph but a testament to the power of community and compassion. His fundraising efforts garnered an impressive £5,000, a contribution that will undoubtedly make a meaningful impact in the lives of those supported by Demelza.

Reflecting on his marathon experience, Liam expressed gratitude for the opportunity provided to him by Demelza, stating, “I just want to thank Demelza for the opportunity of a lifetime to run the London Marathon. The feeling crossing the line was amazing and knowing I raised over £5k for such an amazing charity made it just that bit more special. One thing that I am glad about is no more training and nighttime runs, you won’t be seeing me near a marathon anytime soon! ! But thank you again to such an amazing charity for the opportunity “
