Via the South East Consortium Axis won two tendered Major Works contracts for the refurbishment of two of LBH&F’s large estates in London.

Via the South East Consortium (SEC), Axis won two tendered Major Works contracts for the refurbishment of Becklow Gardens and Emlyn Gardens. These are two of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBH&F)’s large estates in London W12

Becklow Gardens

To six blocks of 248  flats in total at Becklow Gardens our scope of works comprises:

  • Sika concrete repair system
  • Brickwork repairs
  • New fire doors
  • New communal lighting – LED smart system
  • Window replacements
  • New Icopal flooring to all walkways and private balconies
  • Replacement pigeon netting
  • Decorations
  • Roof repairs
  • Rainwater goods
  • New pram shed doors /repairs
  • Garage demolition
  • Bin store door repairs
  • CCTV drainage surveys and repairs
  • Kitchen and bathroom extractor fan replacements
  • Loft insulation and fire compartmentation
  • New block signage
  • Communal trunking replacement

 This project started in March 2023, runs to January 2024, and is valued at 6 million.

Emlyn Gardens

To the 12 blocks of 247 apartments in total at Emlyn Gardens, our scope of works includes:

  • Sika concrete repairs
  • Brickwork repairs
  • New front doors
  • New communal lighting
  • Window overhauling
  • Waterproofing to all walkways and private balconies
  • New pigeon netting
  • Decorations to all communal areas
  • Roof repairs
  • Rainwater and gutter repairs
  • Kitchen and bathroom extractor fan replacements
  • Loft insulation
  • Fire rated loft hatches

This contract also started in March 2023, runs to January 2024, and is valued at £5.5m.
