Project Details

Our excellent relationship with the Metropolitan Police Service continued with this modular building installation project. We tasked our public sector division to convert part of a leisure centre in Rotherhithe to provide a new base for police officers.

We began the project by erecting a secure wall to provide a secure zone. Our team then installed a modular building structure using a crane to hoist the new building over the leisure centre and place it into position. This provides a larger office space for the site.

Our team also installed new male and female locker rooms as was the project remit. These came alongside fully operational showers and toilets with the accompanying plumbing works. We created a new fire escape route with new doors, so officers have a clear and safe route out of the premises.

Next, we moved the data and electrical wiring which were hidden above a suspended ceiling. Our team then installed new interior services including plumbing, air conditioning, lighting, and extraction units. Finally, we completed the electrical installations along with the CCTV and secure entry system.
