How would you describe your experience at the company since you started?
My experience with the company so far has been overall quite good and it has been nice to be trained by qualified tradesmen.
How have you grown personally and professionally during your apprenticeship?
I have grown personally by becoming more confident and being able to understand a problem that I am faced with.
How do you balance hands-on work with classroom learning, and how has that supported your development?
I balance my hands on work and classroom learning by whenever I have any free time I will catch up on classroom learning, this has impacted my development quite well as in between jobs I can catch up then show that at the next job, we will go to.
Support & Development
Are there any mentors / team members who have supported you along the way? How have they supported you?
Fortunately, I would say everyone I have worked with has supported me by showing me the ropes and talking me through the work we are doing.
What skills are you most excited to continue developing during your apprenticeship?
I am excited to continue developing every skill I have been taught so far as I enjoy doing everything.
Do you feel there is a clear path for progression within the company? If so, what does that look like for you?
I feel that there is a very clear path for progression, this to me is just simply passing my apprenticeship and to carry on working for Axis CLC.

What makes you proud to work here?
I feel proud to work here by knowing that we make a real difference to people’s lives with some of the work we do.
What do you think the biggest benefit of being an apprentice is with us?
I think the biggest benefit of being an apprentice with Axis CLC is you will always have someone you can talk to if you’re struggling, so it is nice to have someone always in your corner.
Looking Ahead
What are your career aspirations, and how is the company helping you work towards them?
My career aspirations currently are to become a qualified tradesman myself the company are supporting me by placing me with already qualified tradesmen and even just by putting me through college
What advice would you give someone considering an apprenticeship with us?
Advice I would give to someone considering an apprenticeship with axis, is you should just do it you will learn so many skills, and you will also grow as a person, there is nothing better than being able to look at a job you know you’ve done and it is perfect.
