Home>News>Housing News>Croydon Council Extend Responsive Repairs Contract

Axis is delighted to have been awarded an extension on our Housing Responsive Repairs Term Contract, with the London Borough of Croydon (LBC).

The contract, which began in April 2014, involved responsive repairs across a 7-year period that came to an end just last month. However, two options to extend further for an additional 48 months, up to a maximum contract term of 15 years. The LBC thanked Axis for our “commitment to deliver and manage” the long-term contract.

Following a full review of our performance of the contract during 2020, the LBC concluded that Axis had successfully delivered on the project. Including housing responsive repairs, void reinstatements, gas servicing, and general building-related works and services to the Council’s housing assets.

After this, a recommendation was made to the Contracts and Commissioning Board to:

approve the extension of the housing responsive repairs contract with Axis Europe plc for a further four years.

Axis is proud to be able to continue work in this central area of London, as Croydon utilises the permitted extension period from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2025. Here’s to another great 4 years!
