FAQS

Why choose Axis as your property management partner?2022-01-23T13:03:53+00:00

Working in partnership

Here at Axis, we take great pride in our ability to tailor each of our property asset management programmes to our client’s specific needs. We harness strong relationships that yield positive growth and development. We treat our clients as partners and are onboard with their long-term goals and ambitions.

Continually improving

With a focus on both our own and our client’s KPI’s, we’re never afraid to change and improve our systematic approach based on valued feedback from our clients and their residents. We’re always looking at ways to improve and better our offering to both our clients and their residents.

Up to date

We’ve invested in our technological infrastructure to ensure that we have everything we need to provide a quality service. For example, we’ve recently launched a new scheduling service, enabling us to action emergency and reactive repairs faster than ever before.

Investing in people

We value our people and take care to ensure that they have all of the training and resources they need to confidently complete their work to the highest and safest standards, whilst investing in their own personal and professional development too. This attitude extends to the wider communities that we work in. Axis also invests in local people, working alongside our clients to foster new growth and a better future for local communities.

A safe pair of hands

Axis’ clients can trust that their properties are in a safe pair of hands. We proactively anticipate and always aim to be one step ahead, helping to facilitate safe homes whilst reducing downtime as well as our client’s costs.

Quality

Our longstanding water-tight supply chain ensures that we have the quality materials that we need to complete work efficiently and to a high standard. We support our client’s decisions to explore more sustainable options that are better for the environment and the longevity of their assets.

What is the value of co-locating?2022-01-23T13:00:12+00:00

Co-locating has proven to be particularly beneficial to our total asset management clients.

We want our clients to feel that Axis people are an extension of their own teams. In a co-located working environment, we’re able to build the strongest relationships with our clients and work in a way that mutually benefits one another.

By working within the same space, both Axis people and our clients are able to take a more collaborative approach to planning, decision making and implementing a total asset management programme.

Communication becomes more efficient, and relationships are far easier to manage and develop. It gives us the opportunity to move with our clients, training, learning and growing together. We feel this is important for our client’s success, as well as our own.

How will Axis manage my total asset management programme?2022-01-23T12:55:11+00:00

Here at Axis, we place value and importance on working together as one, in a cohesive and collective manner.

By co-locating with our clients, we’re able to optimise communications, work more efficiently and ensure that everyone is on the same page.

Each contract is built upon honesty, trust, integrity and respect, not only for our clients but their residents, customers and the wider communities too. We believe that this is important for consistently working together to achieve long-term goals and providing complete value for money.

Generally, asset management clients are assigned core personnel including a Divisions Manager and a Contract Leader. Depending on the requirements of their projects, they may also work closely with a number of Divisional Managers and Supervisors across specific service areas such as M&E works and planned maintenance etc.

How much does an asset management programme cost?2022-01-23T12:47:06+00:00

We believe in proving our clients with value for money, taking a value engineering approach in the work that we do.

Each total asset management programme is designed specifically to our client’s requirements and therefore the costs vary depending on the project needs.

We’ll take into account our clients’ budgets and goals when creating each programme. Axis can work on a number of pricing models including PPP (price per property) and PPV (price per void) to offer an appropriate approach that works around our client’s processes.

We have built up a rapport for helping clients to save costs associated with property repairs and maintenance, whilst improving their performance efficiency and resident satisfaction.

What are the benefits of a total asset management programme?2022-01-23T12:34:10+00:00

There are a plethora of benefits associated with total asset property management:

Improving our client’s portfolios

Axis works closely with clients to understand their long-term goals, creating strategic programmes that are aligned with their values, ambitions and budget. Total asset management programmes are designed to improve and sustain the longevity of assets whilst adding value to properties.

One contract

With a total asset management programme, all work is carried out under one contract. Rather than sourcing multiple trades and suppliers, Axis have a skilled fleet of tradespeople and contractors whom we can rely upon to complete a diverse range of asset repair and maintenance works. This is a far more efficient way to manage property repair and maintenance, saving on time and costs associated with sourcing multiple contractors and suppliers.

Value and cost savings

Here at Axis, we take a value engineering approach, optimising our performance to carry out project work at the lowest possible cost.

We aim to find an effective solution that balances quality, value and efficiency in the work that we do. We help our clients to reduce costs associated with emergency repairs by providing strategic and sustainable maintenance programmes.

When designing these programmes, we always work around our clients’ budget allocations, supporting them to get the very best out of their investment. By streamlining and reducing the number of invoices required for processing, our clients gain more transparency over their repair and maintenance costs so that they can stay on top of their budgeting and investment decisions.

Customer satisfaction

Our total asset management programmes take a resident-focused approach. We genuinely want residents to enjoy where they live and safety and comfort always comes first. Axis people are dedicated to proving excellent customer services and always aim to reduce disruption to residents where possible.
