Partnering with Notting Hill Genesis to Refurbish Bolney Meadows Community Centre
We recently partnered with our client Notting Hill Genesis to refurbish a community centre in Lambeth. Our team overhauled the facilities at Bolney Meadows Community Centre, providing a complete refurbishment of the kitchen, foyer and storage spaces.
We refurbished and restored several elements of the centre, including:
- Constructing and installing a new shed for outdoor storage
- Repainting the large sports hall
- Repainting and adding new tiling to the kitchen space
- Installing new kitchen cabinets and appliances provided by Howdens
- Installing new storage cabinets in the entryway of the centre to ensure a clean and decluttered space
The repairs we completed have helped to rejuvenate the space, providing a bright, inviting facility for community activities, including planned cooking classes to be run out of the new kitchen facility.
We were pleased to receive incredibly positive feedback from Notting Hill Genesis about our efforts and how the improved space is already being used by the community. This feedback demonstrates how collaborating closely with Notting Hill Genesis has allowed us to identify specific areas of need to make positive impacts on the local community.
Our communities are at the heart of our partnership with Notting Hill Genesis, who recently nominated us for the Best Sustainability Initiative category at the SVLG Supply-Chain Social Value Awards, which we later won. We look forward to delivering more successful Social Value initiatives through our partnership with Notting Hill Genesis.
