Axis Awarded Place On Zero Carbon Framework
Axis awarded place on Zero Carbon Framework through the South East Consortium
The client set up a framework of service providers for the provision of a range of Zero Carbon and Renewable Services. After completing their tender evaluation process, the South East Consortium (SEC) confirmed that our tender had been successful and Axis was awarded a place on the Zero Carbon Framework.
We’re were awarded places on multiple Lots, including:
- Lot 3 Loft & Cavity Wall Insulation,
- Lot 2 External Wall Insulation,
- Lot 6a Electrical Vehicle Installations,
- Lot 10 Partnerships
We have a vast amount of experience in zero carbon and emission efficient projects. We also have plenty of experience with External Wall Insulation, as shown by our latest project in partnership with Thurrock District Council. Our team are removing the existing rain screen cladding and installing external wall insulation. This comes alongside roofing, fireworks and window installations. We are using a mixture of towers, scaffolding and mask climbers to balance efficiencies with resident needs, whilst ensuring safety.
Axis and the Hyde Group, with funding from E.ON Energy, have completed a cavity wall insulation project on 725 properties. Our abseiling team completed drilling, insulation and plugging. A method that accelerated the project’s delivery, meaning it had a lower environmental impact than scaffold. We reduced the project’s carbon footprint as well as delivering greater energy efficiency in the homes.
We are also an OLEV (Office for Low Emissions Vehicles) approved installer of Electronic Vehicle Charging Points. We have worked with clients including the Metropolitan Police to access grant opportunities and show our capabilities in this sector.
