Axis’ Midlands Division has won a Responsive Repairs, Voids and Associated Works contract with our new client, housing provider Citizen

Axis’ Midlands Division has won a Responsive Repairs, Voids and Associated Works contract with housing provider Citizen – a new partnership. Axis Midlands Operations Director Leanne Ball said:

We are excited to begin working with Citizen and building a successful partnership in the coming years. I’m confident that we will contribute to Citizen’s aims of providing homes that are a foundation for life.

This award is made via Procurement for Housing’s Responsive Repairs and Void Property Services Framework.

The initial term of the contract is four years, extendable for a further two terms of up to three years each, up until a total contract term of ten years. Its value is c £20,000,000

Under this new contract, Axis’ works for Citizen will include

  • responsive repairs and maintenance
  • voids and major voids
  • flooring
  • roofing
  • groundworks
  • damp and mould disrepair works

Axis’ team in the Midlands will be working on, or in the vicinity of homes, in Coventry – (17,001 properties) Birmingham (7,367 Properties) and Worcester – (4,793 properties). Properties are a mix of bedsits, bungalows, flats, houses, maisonettes and single rooms. Director of Maintenance Operations at Citizen, Steve Kirk said:

We are pleased to be partnering with Axis who will carry out extra repair work on our homes.

The social housing sector has seen a significant increase in repair requests, and we are no exception, which is why we will be working with Axis to reduce our repair waiting times and to provide ongoing support to our teams and our customers

Axis will carry out appointments each day alongside our current inhouse teams and we are committed to working with them to make a positive difference to our customers.
