Building Skills for the Future Report

The London Homes Coalition is a partnership of major housing associations, contractors and specialist providers who have come together to deliver the Building Skills for the Future project. Across the social housing sector, one of the biggest challenges we face is a critical skills and labour shortage, and this project aims to address that.

Axis is proud to be a part of the London Homes Coalition and address the challenges we face. The purpose of this project is to 1) understand the scale of the demand for asset management and investment works over the next years, 2) identify the skills gaps likely to result, and 3) design and deliver solutions working together as a sector in close partnership with Government, industry bodies, and education providers.
