We partnered with DEFRA to re-configure their office interior at Foss House and provide a complete refurbishment creating a functional open-plan space with natural light. From demolition, to toilet refurbishment works to the installation of tea points, this project demanded close attention to detail and minimal disruption to the workers in the occupied offices.

What we did

Reconfiguring 1,100m2 of space included installation of 600m of partitioning and 2,000m of insulation.

We constructed 600 linear metres worth of damp and sound-proof glazed partitioning, allowing natural light to spread throughout the office area. Our cost management system saved the client £100,000 from the budget. DEFRA was pleased with our work and asked us to complete an additional refurbishment in adjacent property Mallard House which also included £75,000 worth of additional passive fire compartmentation works.
