Eastlight Community Homes award Axis Europe Domestic Gas and Oil Servicing and Maintenance contract and a Renewables contract

Domestic Gas and Oil Servicing and Maintenance

Following a mini competition from the South East Consortium (SEC)’s Heating and Compliancy Management Framework (Lot 2), Eastlight Community Homes have awarded us a Domestic Gas and Oil Servicing and Maintenance contract.

We will be delivering a programme of annual Domestic Landlords Gas Safety and Oil Checks with the provision of a 24/7 inclusive responsive repairs service to their domestic heating systems in 345 homes in Essex and Suffolk. Our contract commenced in September 2023 and is valued at £1.2m.

Renewables

Via PfH (Asset Decarbonisation & Retrofit Solution DPS/ Lot 8 retrofit works) Axis’ M&E Division won a new Renewables contract, also with Eastlight Community Homes, starting in July 2024.

Under the 2-year Renewables contract with an indicative value of £500,000 per annum, we will be decommissioning existing oil, gas and electric systems and installing new Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems.

We will also be installing:

  • Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MHVR) system
  • Solar Photovoltaic systems
  • Inverters
  • Solar Water Heating systems
  • SMART Cylinder
  • Battery storage
  • EV Charging Point
  • Generation/Export Meters
  • High retention storage heater system
  • SMART Thermostat upgrades/installs

 Eastlight Community Homes own and look after 12,500 social homes in the East of England.
