Educating Tooting Students on Green Careers with the Green Schools Project

In partnership with L&Q and the Green Schools Project, we recently delivered a workshop at Tooting Primary School to educate students about careers in sustainability.

During the session, Year 5 students were given an introduction to green jobs and how to pursue a career in the sustainability industry. Students were also given an overview of the importance of sustainable behaviour.

This workshop was delivered as part of our collaboration with L&Q to support local schools and communities by increasing environmental awareness and promoting sustainability-related opportunities. Supporting students to understand the range of green roles available will help to inspire the next generation of sustainability professionals, helping to support long-term net zero and environmental targets.

Representing Axis CLC at the Green Schools Project workshop was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the Year 5 pupils at Tooting Primary School. It was encouraging to see their interest in sustainability and green careers, and I was proud to share how the work we do at Axis CLC contributes to creating a more sustainable built environment. Inspiring young people to think about the future of our planet is something we’re delighted to support.
