Axis successfully completed this heritage building renovation project for our client, the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. We provided works at 11 Stone Buildings, an 18th Century Grade I listed property, located in central London. The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn is one of the four Inns of Court in London.
The building is part of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn estate, occupied by a leading set of commercial and chancery barristers. Our heritage team delivered on a wide range of works which included a Category B fit-out, and a refit of offices, conference rooms, toilets and kitchenettes.
Our team also provided internal layout adaptations to the property. We made these adaptations because of the relocation of the WC facilities. We also delivered work to the windows and external doors. The team moved onto the mechanical and electrical works which included heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. We also completed the data wiring within the property.
As part of the heritage building renovation, we also provided a modern café fit-out. We installed this in the basement of the building, alongside a new lift, which included structural works. We went on to strip and replace the roof, complete with New Welsh slate tiling.
