Met Police Four Year Framework

Axis is one of seven contractors selected for a new Met Police four-year framework valued at £86m.

The contract will see our public sector team deliver improvements to the Metropolitan Police Estate in London and the South East. Our category of work is ‘Minor and Intermediate Building Works’ and is likely to include a high volume of smaller building refurbishments up to the value of £500,000 per project. We’ve already been successful in a number of the mini-competitions and have works started in Heathrow and Paddington.

There will be a varied range of work and service types on the new Met Police four-year framework. This is including; internal refurbishment and fit-out, alteration and extension, decoration, mechanical and electrical installation, repair and replacement, internal and external fabric repairs, replacement and installation, as well as new build work – exactly Axis’ skill sets. Joe Ibrahim, Projects MD, commented:

It’s a great honour and achievement to have been selected for a second consecutive time onto the Met Framework, particularly when you consider the number of contractors who applied. I would like to congratulate the team lead by Tony Mantle, who delivered the high standard of work (some award-winning) throughout our first framework, which contributed to Axis being selected again.
