Partnering With L&Q To Create Lasting Social Impact Across South London
As part of our 15-year, £3 billion Major Works Investment Programme with L&Q, we're committed to delivering positive outcomes for residents and communities.
In FY 2025/26, we delivered £19.8 million of social value, achieving 138% of our contract commitments and making a tangible difference across local communities.
Some of the highlights include:
- Helped 128 local people secure full-time employment
- Delivered 1,119 weeks of apprenticeships, creating opportunities for future talent
- Contributed £109,225 to community projects through financial and in-kind support
- Provided 576 hours of volunteering across seven community campaigns
- Completed major pro-bono refurbishment projects at Perrymount Primary School and Athelney Primary School
- Maintained our community hub at Lewisham Park Towers, including Summer BBQ, Black History Month and Christmas events
- Spent £15.06 million with local MSMEs, helping strengthen local supply chains and support economic growth
