Refurbishing Clarion's Manchester Allotments

In partnership with our subcontractor, Ashbuild Midlands Ltd, we recently coordinated and sponsored the refurbishment of Clarion Housing Group’s Manchester Allotments.

We were able to complete a variety of upgrades, including:

• Creating planters for flowers and vegetables
• Building a patio area
• Creating a utility store from an old compost area
• Repairing fencing around the site
• Removing unwanted gravel and overgrown weeds and roots
• Installing new perimeter edging boards to multiple areas 
• Installing new topsoil and turf
• Clearing debris and weeds from below orchard trees and install new edging boards and bark to maintain the orchard feel
• Arranging the disposal of plant material and a disused shed

These upgrades will allow residents to make greater use of the space, allowing them to relax, enjoy nature and build gardening skills. We are proud to continue our collaboration with Clarion and support their residents to improve their quality of life and preserve local green spaces.
