Resident Skip Days

In June, Axis and its waste management provider Enva joined to support the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea council and Kingston council to encourage residents to clear out any unwanted items and to deter fly tipping. Unfortunately, fly-tipping incidents on council land such as housing estates, car parks and parks increased by 24% to 195,000 incidents from 158,000. The cost of clearance to local authorities in England in 2020/21 was £11.6 million compared with £10.9 million in 2019/20. In the effort to help residents dispose of items responsibly Axis provided skips.
