Community Day Builds Connections With Peabody’s Shaftsbury Park
Axis Builds Ties With Community Day For Residents of Peabody’s Shaftsbury Park
On the 6th of September, Axis hosted a community day for residents at Peabody’s Shaftsbury Park, where Axis is aiming to complete Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works on up to 800 properties under a government funded scheme. These works include assessing properties to identify the necessary measures to carry out, including installing PV panels, ventilation, loft insultation and LED lighting to support Peabody’s aim of achieving an EPC rating of C by 2030.
Residents were treated to a fun-filled day of food and activities, including a bouncy castle, face painting, magician performance, balloon artist and food stalls including candy floss, popcorn and ice cream!
A huge thank you to all the team members who attended the community day on behalf of Axis:
- Marc Jeffrey (Projects Director)
- Dave Allen (Divisional Manager)
- Matt Aspinwall (Senior Contract Manager)
- Ryan Ogborn (Assistant Site Supervisor)
- Michaela Andronache (Resident Liaison Officer)
- Mihai Vasilas (Site Manager)
In addition to providing a fun family-friendly day for residents, the event provided the opportunity for Axis to educate the residents about the works we are undertaking and to receive feedback about their expectations and experiences. This invaluable feedback helps us to ensure that residents are fully informed about what works are being completed and their benefits so they can set accurate expectations.
Marc Jeffrey (Project Director) celebrated the success of the event, saying “It was a great time, the residents loved it, and one of the residents sang the praises of our Resident Liaison Officer (Michaela Andronache) for the work she has done”.
This glowing feedback emphasises the effort and care invested by our team to ensure positive resident experiences and build constructive working relationships with the local community. A huge thank you to everyone involved!
