Project Details

Axis successfully delivered this external property maintenance project for our client, CAPCO. This residential heritage property is located on King Street in the historic area of Covent Garden, London.

Our dedicated heritage team began the project with a programme of external masonry work and brick repairs. We then moved onto roof maintenance which included leadworks and tile replacement, which was intended to match the aesthetic of the property. The team also provided window restoration and replacements, as well as a programme of external painting and decorating works.

We delivered much-needed timber conservation to the exterior of the building, with an appropriate repair and care system. Our team is highly experienced in restoring, renovating and refurbishing listed buildings and period properties to a high standard whilst conserving the buildings’ features. Our final works on this external property maintenance project was to apply anti-pigeon treatment to the building.

Project Challenges

Our team was tasked with working in one of London’s busiest shopping and tourist areas – and above commercial premises. Because of this, we prioritised minimising disruption to residents, shoppers and local businesses throughout the project.
