Axis wins multiple Lots on CHIC frameworks
Fire and Building Safety (2025-2029)
The scope of CHIC’s £500m Fire and Building Safety (2024-28) framework includes the full and partial installation and replacement of passive and active fire and security systems and installations in domestic properties and communal areas.
Axis won:
- Lot 1 Installation and Replacement
- Lot 2 Servicing and Maintenance
- Lot 3 Consultancy and Management
Mechanical and Electrical (2024-28)
The scope of CHIC’s £400m Mechanical and Electrical framework helps clients to maintain resident heating, power and renewable obligations.
Axis won:
- Lot 1 – Mechanical and Heating systems (wet) – workstream 1 – central heating supply, installation, replacement and servicing – workstream 2 – low carbon technologies supply, installation, replacement and servicing
- Lot 2 – Electrical and Ventilation – workstream 1 – electrical wiring – workstream 2 – electrical energy – workstream 3 – ventilation supply, installation, replacement and servicing
Healthy Homes (2024-2028)
Chic’s Healthy Homes framework offers consultancy services, fabric first measures, ventilation systems, renewable energy and heat systems as well as house refurbishment and damp and mould treatments.
Axis won places on Lot 2 – Works and Services (including Asset Decarbonisation, Retrofit and Building Safety Solutions):
- Sub Lot 2a) Fabric First Solutions (Retrofit Projects)
- Sub Lot 2b) Mechanical and Electrical (Retrofit Projects)
- Sub Lot 2c) Turnkey Solution (Principal Economic Operator for Retrofit Projects)
- Sub Lot 2d) Building Safety
Roofing Systems and Works (2022-2026)
The scope of CHIC’s Roofing Systems framework includes design, supply, installation and all associated works for traditional flat, pitched and mixed roofing systems.
Axis won:
- Lot 3 Flat Roofing Works [Workstream 1]
- Lot 3 Pitched Roofing Works [Workstream 2]
Pitched Roofing
Includes the design, supply of traditional pitched roof coverings to include (but not be limited to), plain concrete tiles, interlocking concrete tiles, interlocking resin or slate, plain clay tiles, interlocking clay tiles, natural blue, black and grey slate, fibre cement slate, all to include flashings, facia, soft, weathering and rainwater items.
Flat roofing
Includes the design, supply of traditional flat roofing products to include (but not be limited to), asphalt, systems, torch on systems such as bituminous built up roofing systems, flame-free systems such as single ply, bituminous systems and GRP. This may include associated products and works such as flashings, fascia, soft, weathering and rainwater items.
Multiple Elements of the Built Environment (2020-2026)
The scope of the Multiple Elements of the Built Environment framework covers internal and external building works and includes restricted mobility adaptations, decorations and repairs
