CLC Celebrates a Double Win from Housing 21

We’re pleased to share that CLC has achieved two significant awards at the recent Housing 21 awards.

  1. Contractor of the Year: Kitchens & Bathrooms 2025
  2. Excellent Performance: Communal Redecoration (Green Lane View and Redmayne View Extra Care schemes).

These awards reflect our high standards of workmanship, resident care and consistent delivery that we strive for across all our Housing 21 projects.

Award 1: Contractor of the Year - Kitchens & Bathrooms

The Contractor of the Year award acknowledges exceptional contractor performance in delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishments while consistently upholding high standards in quality, safety, timeliness, and resident experience.

CLC has carried out major refurbishment and planned maintenance works for Housing 21 across multiple schemes delivering new kitchens, bathrooms, and other essential refurbishments. Our ongoing commitment to resident satisfaction and strict project delivery standards has allowed us to build a trusted relationship and we are proud to have partnered with them for over 25 years.

Award 2: Excellent Performance - Communal Redecoration

The Excellent Performance Award for communal redecoration to Green Lane View and Redmayne View Extra Care schemes recognises outstanding work in maintaining and improving shared communal spaces for residents.

This award highlights our capacity to deliver reliable, high-quality upgrades on communal areas that enhance the living environment for older residents, supporting both safety and comfort in Extra Care settings.

By combining careful planning, skilled workmanship and sensitivity to residents’ needs, our teams continue to deliver projects that make a real difference to the daily lives of Housing 21 residents.

Why These Awards Matter

Performance-based awards such as these serve as an independent benchmark of quality and reliability. They help to reinforce CLC’s credibility across the social housing sector, demonstrate our ability to consistently deliver at high standards, and support future partnerships and tender opportunities.

Recognition from a leading provider of retirement and Extra Care housing highlights our shared commitment to creating safer, higher-quality homes for older people.

Our Commitment

We are incredibly proud to have won these awards. It is a fantastic recognition of the hard work and commitment shown by our teams. We are equally proud of our partnership with Housing 21, which has grown and strengthened over more than 25 years. Working alongside such as a dedicated organisation has been a privilege, and we look forward to many more years of delivering excellence together.

Matt Hilton, Regional Director North

It is a pleasure working on the Housing 21 schemes. My team really enjoy making a difference for the residents, the feedback we have received is fantastic and the residents enjoy us there. To win an award to be recognised for the works we carry out means so much.
