The works were delivered in carefully planned phases while the properties remained fully occupied. Resident Liaison Officers (RLOs) coordinated access and appointments throughout the programme. Regular communication, proactive planning and revised sequencing helped minimise disruption despite challenges including asbestos survey dependencies, restricted access routes, fire investigation delays and noise management requirements.

Axis used proactive planning, revised sequencing and enhanced resident engagement to manage these challenges and minimise disruption. Resident Liaison Officers coordinated access appointments, surveys and installation schedules, while newsletters, progress bulletins, safety updates and advance notices kept residents informed. During noisy drilling works, residents received advance warning where temporary evacuation was required. Regular scaffold safety reminders and restricted access controls also helped maintain safety throughout the programme.
Challenges
The project presented challenges including asbestos survey dependencies, restricted access routes, fire investigation delays and the need to manage noise in occupied homes.
