We refurbished five void lodges for City of London Corporation. The works were carried out between December 2025 and May 2026, transforming ageing lodges into modern, energy-efficient homes through extensive internal and external upgrades.

Working within a forest environment presented ongoing challenges include high moisture, damp conditions, and restricted site access. We managed these challenges through a structured drying approach following strip-out works, using natural ventilation and dehumidifiers to stabilise internal environments.
Alongside this, our refurbishment and retrofit upgrades project delivered energy efficient improvements including roof repairs, upgraded insulation, Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), mechanical ventilation, and new windows and doors. The result was a reduction of heat loss, enhanced ventilation and improved thermal performance.
