Project Details
Fazeley House, in Northholt, Ealing, west London, comprises 55 1-3 bedroom fully-occupied flats.
Following the removal of the existing pitched rubber membrane cold roof, we installed new ply and noggings to provide extra support and rigidity to the new roof structure as well as a vapour control membrane to stop moist air from the inside the building from forming condensation in the roof.
The installation of insulation, underlay and capsheet (to improve wear resistance and waterproofing) and the new felt Langley warm roof system followed.
Additional internal and external works included repairs and decorations to the two communal areas; deep cleaning and renewal of the carpet and vinyl flooring and timber repairs and restoration works to fencing, pergola and decking plus grass planting.
We minimised disruption to residents, protected their property from the elements during the works, and kept them informed about our progress through regular meetings as well as newsletters.
