Project Details
Our heritage division began their programme of works with a soft strip including demolition of an internal wall adjoining a kitchenette and WC. We also demolished a small section of stud work wall and isolated water to entry points, then removed the electrical and gas supplies. The team replaced ceilings and removed all of the existing flooring and wall coverings in preparation for internal refurbishment.
Once the rooms were stripped, our team embarked on a full rewire and installation of a new gas supply and heating system. We constructed a new stud work wall and erected a bi-folding door prior to the installation of two high-end kitchenettes and bathrooms. We diverted the water main and capped off the water and waste pipes, adapting them to suit the new layout alongside removing redundant pipework.
The team then installed a new condensing boiler, macerator, heater and heating system. We supplied and installed a wall-mounted data cabinet, lighting, and fire alarms to serve the rear external area to the building and front lobby. Our heritage void project works were completed with decoration to the internal fabric of the building involving a plaster skim finish to ceilings and walls, taking into account the age and historic importance of the features.
