The works consisted of replacing all existing FED to all apartments and secondary means of escape doors with new certified doorsets o FD30 standard with 3rd party manufacture and installation certification.

In addition to enable firestopping of breaches  we removed and replaced all communal corridor ceilings.

M&E works included full design and installation of communal landlord supplies, lateral mains, and communal lighting as well as EICRs and remedial works to all C1 and C2 faults to the individual dwellings including replacement of consumer units and installation of new LD1 smoke detection system.

Axis worked collaboratively with our specialist suppliers and Lewisham Homes, reviewing the type 4 FRA report provided by Frankams and undertaking site surveys to develop the specification and design for this contract – testing these against Building and Fire Regulations to ensure full compliance. All plans and designs were agreed with local Building Control and Regulation 38.
