We were employed by Westminster City Council to undertake external and internal fire safety works at six 21-storey tower blocks in London.

Axis has delivered multiple concurrent programmes for Westminster City Council’s 22,000 homes for over 12 years.

Our contract saw essential external fire safety works carried out at six 21-storey tower blocks, each housing 125 apartments. Works included the replacement of combustible timber balcony decking with new Bauder waterproofing as well as the installation of new external wall insulation (EWI).

Internally, we installed fire alarms and AOV systems alongside replacing non-compliant steel fire doors with fully compliant timber fire doors.
